Chelmsford Christians working together to transform our City.
CTiC is a visible sign of local Christians commitment to one another, as an expression of Jesus’ prayer ‘that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you: may they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.’ John 17:21.
CTiC is the Body that represents a large number of Christians within churches and other Christian organisations, across denominations in the Chelmsford area. This includes their corporate mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ as widely as possible, to act as a voice for Christians in the city of Chelmsford, and to foster unity amongst the various churches and Christian organisations in the area.
CTiC organises the annual Good Friday Procession of Witness from churches around the City, to the High Street, where a service of Thanksgiving is held.
They also held their first ever Civic Prayer Breakfast in January 2018 – click here for details and photos.
The CTiC AGM for 2018 is on Sunday 20th May, at Skylark Church, 4 Hanbury Road, Chelmsford, CM13AE
2018 Procession of Witness
Each Good Friday, the Christians of Chelmsford process from three locations around our City, stopping at various churches, where further people are added, until they meet for an 11am gathering, with worship, praise and a gospel message, at the top end of the High Street, by the Shire Hall.
Several hundred gathered this year and made a very strong declaration the Jesus is Lord!
