Jan 2018 Civic Prayer Breakfast

The first CTiC Civic Prayer Breakfast – January 2018

Civic Prayer Breakfast 2018The first City Civic Prayer Breakfast organised by Christians Together in Chelmsford took place at Hylands House on 10th January 2018

About 40 people attended, including our MP, the mayor and his wife, one of our Assistant Chief Constables, and other City and County leaders plus Christians from many churches and organisations.

We ate, chatted, built relationships and prayers were then said over police, healthcare, political leaders, commerce and education in our City.

Local Evangelist, Nigel Bolitho, spoke passionately that Church and State in our City are not seperate, but ‘part of the ‘same house’, although so often confined to different floors – that we should and must be in relationship, working together to see our City blessed and prosper.

Today was a day when we each took new steps, both up or down the staircase. May these journeys between us continue.
