Essex Police logoWe invite you to join us, to bless the men and women of our County’s Police Service

Thursday 25th May 2017 is the National Day of Prayer for Police and also coincides with the first day CPA logoof the Global Thy Kingdom Come Prayer Initiative.

Chelmsford 24-7 is a Community Partner of the National Christian Police Association and with strong links locally with their Essex Branch, we are excited to be be teaming up for a Prayer Walk at Essex Police HQ, Springfield, Chelmsford.

HQ ReceptionWe invite local Christians to join us at HQ Main Reception from 11.15 am and from 11.30 to 1.30 pm, we will be taken around the Complex and into some of the various buildings and offices, where we will periodically pause and pray over specific departments and the staff who work there.2016-09-25-17-38-35-crop

We will be encouraging you to wear one of our blue reflective vests, which boldly proclaim, ‘Praying for our City’, so everyone will know who we are.

We hope to end with a cup or tea or coffee at the Training Centre.


Getting there

We are meeting 11.15 am at the building marked ‘C’, on the Map

Parking (5 minutes walk away)

You may be able to park in the Main Staff Car Park, (right hand side of the map), or part of the adjacent Playing Field, to the left of the Sports Pavillion, will be open for over-flow parking. This is accessible at the very end of St. Margaret’s Road. Sat Nav postcode is CM2 6DS.

Note that most roads surrounding Essex Police headquarters are resident only parking although there are some marked areas where the restriction only applies between 2pm and 3pm.

You can travel by bus. Eastern National routes 52 and 54 stop close by in Springfield Road and route 47 drops off in Sandford Road.
